Our hammocks are made by local artisans who are familiar with the province's tradition of net making and have pride in the work they do and take the time to do the job right.
All our hammocks are hand made and for some we even make our own rope and weave the hammock bed - these are the crème de la crème of our hammocks and we are very proud of them.
Bay Hammocks focus is on quality, comfort and customer service. That is why we make the rope for our best hammocks ourselves. This allows us to build in the strength required for a long life and yet maintain the softness of weave required for comfort. All rope is treated for UV and mildew protection and custom sizes are available at no extra cost.
To meet the needs of our customers we make hammocks in 5 different fabrics: nylon, olefin, parachute nylon, Sunbrella® fabric, and polyester sports net. While they vary in performance and price all our hammocks are guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for five years after the purchase date. If an item is found to be defective within 5 years of purchase, it will be replaced without charge upon the return of the unit accompanied by a sales receipt.
